For Greenplac, efficient production is impossible without sustainability. Fostering and promoting a balance between the manufacturing process and the environment is part of our quality, adding value to what we do and what we deliver. That is why we built a modern factory with high capacity and technology, but one that works side-by-side with nature, without disturbing it.

In January of this year, Greenplac implemented a new resin factory, one of the main raw materials for MDF, in its industrial complex. The unit is integrated with the MDF industry and is already operating at full capacity. This is the beginning of our journey toward self-sufficiency in production.

Our commitment to excellence is what challenges us to continue developing innovative solutions and products of the highest quality.

In addition to working with its own natural raw material reserve, Greenplac carries out environmental protection actions such as effluent treatment, water reuse, selective collection, energy generation from biomass, planting and replanting techniques, among others. It also supports projects with entities for a sustainable factory workforce, such as the partnership with SENAI, in order to offer the lowest possible social impact in the manufacturing of its products.

Greenplac Wood Acquisition Policy

Greenplac recognizes the importance of acquiring wood in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, aiming to supply its industrial unit, located in Água Clara, Mato Grosso do Sul. Thus, it is committed to acquiring wood originating from forest areas where:

  • Applicable legal requirements are met;
  • High conservation value forest attributes are not being threatened;
  • Native forests are not being converted to forest plantations;
  • Civil and traditional rights are respected;
  • Genetically modified trees are not planted.

To ensure compliance with this policy, Greenplac uses controlled procedures, which define work routines, operational controls, and responsibilities.

QUALITY: NORMATIVE REQUIREMENTS AND CARE

Greenplac, a wood panel industry, was strategically installed in Mato Grosso do Sul due to its proximity to its own forest base. The production of its main commercialized product, MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), is a panel of homogeneous and environmentally friendly composition, made from the agglutination of synthetic resin and reforested wood fibers, such as eucalyptus, which in current production comes from about 18,000 hectares of eucalyptus from its own plantations.

Attentive to opportunities, GreenPlac encouraged, based on its annual strategic planning cycle, significant forest investments to guarantee the origin and quality of its main raw material.

Greenplac MDF has stood out in the market for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. The company uses eucalyptus wood planted in its own forests, under strict environmental certification.
