Greenplac wins DNA Paris Design Awards for its Expo Revestir stand project and 2024 visual communication

The international award values elegant, classic, and innovative design in projects submitted worldwide.

Greenplac MDF has just received two international awards – DNA Paris Design Awards 2024 – one of the most important awards for design and architecture worldwide, for its graphic visual communication and its stand design at Expo Revestir 2024, a fair held in March in São Paulo. The merchandising material won in the Graphics/Packaging category and the stand won in the Interior Design category, both evaluated as elegant and classic, conceived with timeless design after evaluation by 24 renowned professionals from various countries.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Niemeyer Space, in Paris, on October 25th, at a private event, by invitation only. The award is a creation of the Farmani Group, responsible for the world's leading architecture and design awards, such as the International Design Awards (IDA), Architecture MasterPrize (AMP), European Product Design Awards (EPDA), Prix de la Photographie in Paris (PX3), London International Creative Awards (LICC), International Photography Awards (IPA), and the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography, which has emerged as one of the most prestigious photography awards in the world. Another group part of the award organization is In Between, a collective of thinkers and creators, based in Paris with a focus on innovation from a multidisciplinary vision.

"I highly value everyone who participated and especially each stage of the process that led us to this gratifying result. We spent almost a year on the research phase, analyzing everything from the future of consumption to furniture design trends," says Marketing Manager Laís Carelo.

Laís recalls the stages and highlights, "we fine-tuned the briefing and the creative concept internally and confirmed our purposes with our clients, suppliers, business partners such as Estudio Brunato, FVG Stands, Metalette Design, 7etti agency, Mais Type print shop, and, finally, with the architecture and design public. Our entire team is very happy," she celebrates.

Sandra Somacal, National Commercial Manager, emphasizes, "We have a united team that is committed to serving our clients well. When we develop our projects, we are always looking beyond innovation, to serve and present our products in a unique and differentiated way so that the client feels special, and this is the Greenplac DNA. I believe that is why the recognition comes, to reinforce our commitment and dedication to the furniture segment."

The architect Alexandre Brunato, responsible for the stand project, highlights the distinctive aspects of the work. "All creative stages had people's coexistence within the space as their focal point. Every step, every glance was imagined in a way that would generate feelings, especially a wave of contemplation that architecture and design allow us to have and experience," he celebrates. "It is an award that makes us very happy, a great recognition of our teamwork, both from our team and our partners."

The DNA Paris Design Awards Trophy was designed by Studio Briand Berthereau with the aim of creating a true work of art with simple and strong lines. The entire piece was manufactured in France, from a block of low-carbon aluminum – Hydro Reduxa and molded by extrusion.
"Every detail of the visual communication of our materials and also our stand was meticulously designed. We are very happy with the achievement of yet another international design award, recognition that motivates us to continue striving for even more for the company," concludes Laís, Greenplac's Marketing Manager.

The awarded projects

Aligned with the future of consumption and the main trends for the furniture sector, Greenplac highlighted its 2024 concept for both projects: Timelessness. "Design for all spaces, for all times. The design that remains." In one of the inspirational themes for the year's creative concept, "resisting time," Greenplac invites everyone to a moment of reflection on what it means to be timeless, from the perspective of architects, designers, artists, history teachers, and cabinetmakers. Within the theme, the brand also highlights "more conscious choices," advocating that quality is above quantity.

The Industry – 6 years boosting the state of Mato Grosso do Sul

Since its inauguration in 2018, Greenplac MDF has established itself among the main players in the segment. After making a strong presence at the country's largest design and architecture fairs, Greenplac was also recognized for its pioneering spirit with the Gran Colar do Mérito Industrial award, from the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso do Sul. This achievement recognized all the economic and social development that the company brought to the city of Água Clara (MS) and the region.
