Greenplac reforça compromisso com sustentabilidade e impacto social

Greenplac reinforces commitment to sustainability and social impact

Material used at the Expo Revestir 2026 stand will be donated to a social organization and used in a carpentry course and for the construction of a podcast space

A pillar of Greenplac MDF's strategic vision, sustainability has guided actions aimed at improving people's quality of life and preserving the environment. In this scenario, the company, which belongs to the Colpar Brasil holding company, has, over the years, expanded initiatives aligned with its ESG policy, connecting its projects to positive social and environmental impacts.

Reaffirming this commitment, Greenplac MD donated the MDF panels used to set up its stand at Expo Revestir 2026, held from March 9 to 13, in São Paulo, to the Padre Leo Comissarri Association. This is the second consecutive year that the company, one of the main players in the sector, has donated material to the organization, which works on political and civic education and awareness, in addition to promoting access to culture, digital inclusion, and professional qualification.

"This is another action focused on promoting and supporting initiatives aimed at the environment, social evolution, and governance," says Greenplac MDF marketing manager, Laís Carelo. "We are proud to support the Padre Leo Association, strengthening its important social work," she adds.

Located in São Bernardo do Campo, the association serves dozens of children, adolescents, and adults. The donated material will be used in carpentry courses promoted by the entity in partnership with the National Service for Industrial Apprenticeship (Senai), in addition to the construction of a space for the "Estúdio Comissari" podcast.

"Receiving this material is fundamental for our community-focused projects, whether for the professional carpentry course, for renovating environments, or for building new spaces," highlights Sister Erlenir da Silva, responsible for the institution. "For the second consecutive year, Greenplac makes a difference in our lives, providing MDF for our professional courses and now for our podcast space. We are immensely grateful for this support."

"Greenplac, like all companies in the Colpar Brasil holding, has a strong commitment to sustainability actions, and it is very gratifying to see the socioeconomic impact these actions have, which motivates us to invest more and more in such actions," says José Roberto Colnaghi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Colpar Brasil.

ESG

In recent years, Greenplac MDF has been involved in various social actions, supporting initiatives that promote inclusion, professionalization, and culture. In 2022, the company donated the stand used at Formóbile to the Resgatando Vidas Institute, linked to Gerando Falcões, a nationally recognized organization for the breadth of its social actions. The material was used to build spaces for ballet, music, and computer classes.

The following year, the MDF used at the Expo Revestir 2023 stand was donated to Tabea Diadema, a charitable organization that serves around 350 people in the Serraria neighborhood, in the Greater São Paulo region. The institution provides care to children and adolescents in situations of social or personal vulnerability for their proper physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual development. The entity also offers professional qualification to young people and adults, especially in the areas of carpentry and computing.

The same initiative has also benefited Construíde with the Expo Revestir and Formóbile stands. The organization works on building decent housing for families in socioeconomic fragility and has already impacted the lives of more than 27,000 people throughout Brazil. The material and the NGO's work were essential for the construction of temporary housing in Rio Grande do Sul after the floods that devastated the state.

In addition to donating the stands, Greenplac maintains Horta Green, which provides vegetables for social institutions in Água Clara (MS), the industry's headquarters, where a rural school was also recently built. The brand also has a partnership with the state government in the Flora MS project, which restores degraded areas through reforestation. All MDF produced by Greenplac comes from its own forests, with over 18,000 hectares of certified eucalyptus.

Casas Collection

In a scenario where decoration and architecture trends for 2026 point to biophilic design, a concept that seeks sensory reconnection with nature, technological integration, and the valorization of authentic, emotional, and sustainable spaces, Greenplac MDF launched five patterns at Expo Revestir 2026: Plié, a neutral pink; Arenza, a soft fendi; Moccato, a cappuccino tone; and two fundamental wood finishes, Carvalho Catedral and Freijó Nacional.

The proposal of the new collection is an invitation for each home to reflect on living and its moments, experiencing each stage and celebrating human individuality. The collection was one of the highlights of Expo Revestir 2026, consolidating itself as the main event for coverings and finishes in Latin America and one of the most important in the architecture and construction sector.
