Responsibility and commitment to the environmental, economic, and social development of its community is one of the pillars of GreenPlac, an Asperbras subsidiary (www.asperbras.com.br) located in the municipality of Água Clara (MS). Given the low temperatures at this time of year and the approaching winter, the company ratifies its values by participating in the 7th edition of the "Warm a Life" clothing drive, promoted by the State Government of Mato Grosso do Sul, with the donation of 5,000 new blankets. This year, the social action reached a record, with 84,870 items collected, including clothes, throws, and blankets, totaling 23,000 more than last year.
Greenplac joined the group of 20 public and private companies that participated in the campaign, which began last Monday in the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul with the presence of Governor Reinaldo Azambuja and First Lady Fátima Azambuja, among other authorities. For the company's Chairman of the Board, José Roberto Colnaghi, the action is part of the company's culture of participating in the community's social demands, helping to promote the health and well-being of the population. "The donation of blankets for the 7th edition of the clothing drive brings us even closer to the daily lives of our families, which is in the DNA of our company," highlights the executive.
Founded in 2018 in Água Clara (MS), the company that manufactures raw and resin-coated MDF panels is part of Asperbras. In a short time, the company has already become synonymous with quality, innovation, and pioneering. There are more than 180 points of sale nationwide, generating 570 direct and 750 indirect jobs. To expand its operations, the company built a distribution center in Mirassol (SP). Based on its sustainable production, Greenplac has a clear vision for the future, making constant investments in new sustainable technologies and employee training, to offer products that are a benchmark in the national and international market.
In addition to environmental concerns, Asperbras also focuses on social issues. The Nelly Jorge Colnaghi Foundation – named after the mother of the current partners – has been serving more than 230 children between four months and five years of age in Penápolis (SP) for 20 years. They receive full-time care with food, literacy classes, ballet, English, and judo. Not only the students, but the entire family has access to dental care, physical therapy, social assistance, and psychological support.
