Greenplac MDF receives International IF Design Award 2023

Greenplac's stand at Formóbile 2022 is the winner of the International IF Design Award, the most important design award worldwide, in the Trends and Exhibitions category. The award highlights projects that combine different points of excellence, such as global design trends and even social impact. The jury is composed of renowned professionals from 20 countries, and the positive result for Greenplac was announced in April.

The awards ceremony will take place at a grand gala on May 15 in Berlin, Germany. "I consider the award a great recognition of a team effort. There was total integration from understanding the creative concept of the project, the industrial production of the launch panels, dedicated service to visiting clients, and finally, the donation of all materials used in the event," celebrates Greenplac's marketing manager, Laís Carelo.

With 300 m², the stand was the stage for the launch of a new collection of MDF products, the Estilo Collection. The installation, designed by Estudio Brunato architecture, remained faithful to Greenplac's 2022 concept, Art in Renovation, which honored nature and the arid beauty of the Brazilian cerrado, reinforcing the future of increasingly sustainable and natural design.

"There was total synergy between companies in the conception of the creative concept. In fact, we believe that 2022 represented a moment of renewal for a more organic design, which is why the essence of the project was so assertive for both us and Greenplac," reinforces architect Alexandre Brunato.

After the fair, the entire structure was donated to the Instituto Resgatando Vidas, associated with the NGO Gerando Falcões, with the aim of expanding the institute's Sports and Culture Hub.

"We are the newest MDF panel brand in Brazil to receive this important seal, one of the most recognized in the sector for awarding Design. We will maintain our close attention to quality, service, innovation, and sustainability, always dedicated to actions with social engagement, in favor of an increasingly balanced design for 2023," concludes Laís Carelo.

The company

The Greenplac MDF industry is among the main players in the furniture sector in Brazil, with one of the most technologically advanced plants for this production process. In four years, it is already considered an industrial complex for continuously investing in self-sufficiency and vertical integration of processes, as well as more than doubling direct employment opportunities in the Água Clara/MS region since its inauguration in 2018.

Its products have already been nationally recognized with the POPAI Award – Retail Oscar in 2021 and internationally with the texture of the Essenziale line, awarded at Interzum, Germany's largest fair, in 2017. After a strong presence at the country's biggest design and architecture fairs, Greenplac was also recognized in 2019 for its pioneering spirit with the Gran Colar do Mérito Industrial award, from the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso do Sul. The achievement recognized all the economic development that the company brought to the city of Água Clara (MS) and the region.
