MDF industry presents its creative strategy for the coming year and evaluates the launch of new products focused on Timelessness.
In the year it completed 5 years of activity in the furniture sector, Greenplac MDF takes a comprehensive look back at its achievements and challenges. The brand achieved growth of 63 new points of sale in the country, launched the Minimal Collection, debuted at Expo Revestir, and solidified its brand presence in 72 resellers visited by the “Greenplac na Prática” project, the itinerant truck that toured the South, Central-West, and Southeast regions, conducting 108 workshops for over 3,090 visitors.
In 2023, the company also strengthened its ties with the architecture, design, and carpentry sectors and, in recognition, received important awards such as the iF Design Award in Germany, known as the Oscar of Design, the Gold Winner by the International Architecture and Design Community (ADC), and has just been spontaneously voted among the Top 20 Suppliers in the furniture sector in the ranking of Móveis de Valor magazine.
In terms of production and forestry, as planned for the year, Greenplac invested in a new line of coated MDF, began the impregnation process, and strengthened and expanded its forestry front. The brand remained committed to continuous improvement actions, dedicating full attention to its environmental and social commitments. It continued the partnership initiated in 2022 with the Instituto Resgatando Vidas, improved its community garden, Horta Green, and proceeded with Circular Design and sports support projects. Additionally, it presented a new partnership proposal for a reforestation program in Mato Grosso do Sul, Flora MS.
“The year was quite demanding, both in our daily market activities and in operations within the industry. A large part of our professional dedication was also applied internally. We built a good and solid foundation with resellers, industries, and sector networks, growing sustainably, according to our strategy. We also built a close relationship with furniture hubs, especially in Ubá/MG,” evaluates Sandra Somacal, National Commercial Manager.
“With a dedicated team and much effort, this set of integrated actions led Greenplac MDF to achieve its highest growth in wood and solid colors this year, outside the pandemic period, a significant result for a new brand in a very challenging market year,” she adds.

Marketing manager (L) Laís Carelo and national commercial manager (R) evaluate portfolio study for new products in 2024.
For Laís Carelo, marketing manager, the message that “we experienced a year to balance the sector” stands out, also received by many of her clients and business partners to symbolize 2023. “It is a fact that we are going through an Era of Balance. And it was this same strong and minimalist message that stamped our creative concept, samples, and moved our actions and strategies in this year of 2023, which is now coming to an end.”
Looking to the future, Greenplac reveals a new direction for 2024: timelessness. This concept reflects a global conviction about relearning silence and quality over quantity. Marketing manager Laís Carelo explains:
“This behavioral path results in a sensitive feeling that our choices in general, including for our homes, need to last longer. To face this consumption scenario and the predicted trends in our segment, we believe that valuing time and simplicity leads us to this broad concept which is TIMELESSNESS.”

With this focus, Greenplac seeks not only to adapt but also to anticipate market demands, remaining aligned with the vision of the future. “This new concept will be incorporated into all aspects of the company, from the development of new products to communication, marketing, and commercial strategies,” concludes Laís Carelo.
“For 2024, we will dedicate ourselves even more to consolidating this closer relationship base with our customers, which we worked hard to achieve. In the coming year, we will achieve ambitious national commercial goals and even begin to advance more with exports, a native know-how of Asperbras Holding, of which Greenplac is a part,” concludes the National Commercial Manager, Sandra Somacal.
