Greenplac MDF completed six years since the start of operations on July 4, 2018, and is announcing its achievements to the market. In the first half of this year, the company, which belongs to the Asperbras Brasil holding, held its first-half closing meeting and confirmed positive results for the brand, which continues to experience sustainable growth. Highlighted is the company's total revenue, which was 8% higher in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year. Another positive result was achieving a record volume of revenue. "This result, amid a highly competitive economic scenario in the segment, is due to significant internal adjustments and the strong collaboration of the entire sales team with the production, invoicing, and shipping departments," says José Roberto Colnaghi, Chairman of Asperbras' Administrative Council.
In addition to these highlights of Greenplac MDF's results, National Commercial Manager Sandra Somacal emphasized further achievements. "We have clear strategies and we strive, as a team, to achieve our defined goals. One of the main goals is the growth of our market share in resale in the Midwest region, where we achieved a 28% growth in 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. In the furniture industry channel, and especially with Raw MDF, Greenplac continues to grow and increase our market share in this channel."

The results reflect investments of R$ 70 million allocated for this year, with R$ 50 million in its own forest front of 18,000 hectares in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, where the industrial plant is located, and R$ 20 million in the expansion of industrial facilities and software updates for process automation in inventory, shipping, and administrative and PPCP (Production Planning, Programming, and Control) processes. "We have a well-structured plant with modern German technology equipment and a team of good professionals. We have achieved self-sufficiency in our processes and will remain focused on our growth always based on technology, innovation, and sustainability," explains General Director Valmir de Souza. "The feedback from the market and our customers regarding our company has been positive. They see our growth as sustainable and envision our business partnership as long-term, which motivates us to maintain our investment projection for 2025."

Over its years of existence, more than R$ 1.1 billion has been invested, focusing on self-sufficiency from eucalyptus forests, the main raw material for MDF production. "All our businesses are healthy. Our companies have almost 40 years of operation in irrigation, sanitation, and agribusiness solutions. We have been working with ventures and urbanism for over 30 years, and for 20 years we have been active in the food segment. Greenplac MDF also follows the same line of commitment to quality. Our most recent investment in the country is also paving its way to solidity in our businesses," states José Roberto Colnaghi, Chairman of Asperbras Brasil's Administrative Council.
One year after its inauguration, the plant began producing urea-formaldehyde resin, a component used in MDF production, with a capacity of 160 tons per day. This achieved the company's goal of verticalized production, without needing components from the market. Currently, MDF is distributed to three Distribution Centers (CDs) – in Mirassol (SP), which holds about 4,000 cubic meters of MDF, as well as CDs in furniture hubs located in Ubá (MG) and Arapongas (PR). The construction of these centers was a strategic decision by the company to improve service, prioritizing customer demands with greater agility in delivery.
"We are working hard to consolidate Greenplac MDF among the leading MDF industries in the Brazilian market. Hundreds of resellers work with our brand nationwide, and our goal is to achieve 10% growth by the end of 2025," concludes National Commercial Manager, Sandra Somacal.
