Company set a record in revenue volume for the 1st half of the year and invested in updates and forests; portfolio will gain new products in 2025

Greenplac MDF enters 2025 with plans for product line expansion and celebrates its 2024 achievements. In July, while celebrating its 6th anniversary, the company also celebrated its first-half results with an 8% increase in revenue volume, a record compared to the same period in 2023. Sales volume in the central-west region increased by 20% in the same comparison, solidifying the brand as one of the main players in the Brazilian market.
The results reflected an investment of R$ 70 million, with R$ 50 million in its own 17,000-hectare forest front in Água Clara (MS), where the industrial plant is located, and R$ 20 million in the expansion of industrial facilities and software updates for process automation in inventory, dispatch, and in administrative areas, PPCP (Production Planning, Programming, and Control), and Business Intelligence (BI).
“Greenplac MDF remains steadfast in its purpose to always offer the highest quality products and services and to innovate with standards increasingly aligned with international trends,” says the company’s General Director, Valmir de Souza.
The outlook for MDF production is quite favorable, and according to a global report by Mordor Intelligence consulting firm, the market is expanding and may have reached 117.40 million cubic meters in 2024. By 2029, the projection is 141.53 million cubic meters. This is largely due to its reduced environmental impact, as it uses wood fibers from sustainable forests. This replaces the use of solid wood and helps reduce waste by reusing even small pieces that would otherwise be discarded, contributing to the preservation of natural resources and lessening the environmental impact associated with the extraction and processing of raw materials.
Market Recognition
Currently, with an annual production of 360,000 cubic meters of MDF, Greenplac offers six product lines totaling more than 40 distinct patterns. For the quality and excellence of its work, it received the DNA Paris Design Awards 2024, one of the world's leading architecture and design awards, in two categories. After evaluation by 24 renowned professionals from various countries, it was awarded for the design of the company's stand at Expo Revestir 2024 in the Interior Design category for its elegant, innovative, and practically conceived design. It was also awarded in the Merchandising Material category for the set of 3 portfolios created for the "Timeless" creative concept, developed for 2024.


Another major achievement in 2024 was the inauguration of the Design Lab at the company's office in São Paulo (SP). It is an exclusive space for architects with a capacity for up to 25 people, where professionals have access to the brand's entire portfolio. Here, they can conduct mood board dynamics using Greenplac samples and available accessories, such as handles, fabrics, plants, and tiles. In addition, it is a space where market trend meetings are held. Two equipped meeting rooms with capacity for up to 6 people can be used by architecture professionals for client meetings.
For 2025, the brand anticipates a 20% increase in its coated MDF portfolio. “We will complement the product mix with launches that reinforce and consolidate our creative concept of timelessness, which is also a global trend,” anticipates Marketing Manager, Laís Carelo.
