Greenplac aposta na “Arte em Renovar” e cria obra de arte com design circular, em parceria com a Parkiet Brasil.

Greenplac bets on "Art in Renovating" and creates a work of art with circular design, in partnership with Parkiet Brasil.

Always at the forefront of the main agendas in the furniture segment, the Greenplac MDF industry began its sustainable journey in 2017, but with a history of reforestation programs spanning over 30 years. Aiming to further preserve our environment, this new year, the brand goes further by investing in circular design.

This new concept is part of the circular economy, which aims to use waste or discarded materials as recycled raw material, in addition to developing products with reuse in mind to keep inputs in the production cycle.

Seeking to value every little piece of its products and give new meaning to these small MDF strips, which would otherwise be discarded after trimming for merchandising material production, the brand developed artisanal art frames.

Greenplac produces eucalyptus MDF from a certified wood forest, with responsible production, where there is clean energy, recycled water, supports socio-environmental projects, and works to increasingly reduce environmental impacts by reusing waste.

In the hands of artist Eunápio Sturaro, each MDF strip remained environmentally responsible in all its stages – from the methods and inputs chosen in the manufacture of the patterns, to the possibilities of post-use recycling, which became a 3D wooden art piece. It highlights each of the 38 Greenplac MDF patterns available on the market.

The choice of Parkiet for the project was instrumental, as both companies share the same principles – an appreciation for art, love for what they do, and, above all, true respect for the environment and the desire to drive circular design. "For Greenplac, its product is special. Every little piece of MDF has a story – while many become large furniture projects, others become art. For us, nothing is lost and everything is transformed. Adding beauty, quality, and functionality, even to the discards of our production, is what we call ART IN RENEWAL, and Greenplac is at the forefront of this trend," says Lais Carelo, the company's marketing manager.

Circular Design does not waste, but renews the meaning of what would previously be waste.
