Success at Formóbile 2022 led the company to decide to invest in new equipment and expansions
In response to a very positive customer reception at Formóbile 2022, the largest wood and furniture fair in Latin America held in São Paulo, Greenplac (www.greenplac.com.br) now announces investments of R$ 70 million for 2023 in forestry, facility expansion, and new equipment to increase the production capacity of Laminated MDF. These actions are expected to create 40 new job openings in operational and commercial areas to meet the growing demand for the product. "This decision takes into account the positive feedback from our customers regarding our unicolor and woodgrain products in our portfolio," comments the company's General Director, Valmir Souza.
"Our forty patterns in the catalog, including the latest releases from the 2022 Style Collection, have been well-received by the market and highlight our brand's well-resolved portfolio, meaning it is compact and complete," says Valmir.
The Greenplac MDF industry is among the main players in the furniture sector in Brazil, with one of the most technologically advanced plants for this production process. In four years, it is already considered an industrial complex for continuously investing in self-sufficiency and process verticalization, in addition to more than doubling direct employment opportunities in the Água Clara/MS region since its inauguration in 2018. "It is a fact today that Laminated MDF offers higher added value. Considering this factor, combined with our desire to further accompany the growth of our brand in the furniture sector and see more of our product developments in sales outlets across the country, led us to invest in a new laminating press," reinforces Valmir Souza, Greenplac's General Director. The new press will enable Greenplac to offer 200,000 m3 of laminated MDF per year to the market.
